Hey Gamers!
For the last week or so I have been playing Warface, a Free to Play(F2P) First Person Shooter(FPS). Let me start off by giving a little bit of information on the game. It is currently in closed beta, but you can register for a spot on their website. The developer is Crytek Kiev, and is being published by Trecent Holdings, Nexon, and Trion Worlds. The engine it is being ran on is the CryEngine 3.
First off the graphics. Now graphics are not everything, but they are important, that said, the game looks gorgeous especially for a Free to Play game. The textures are really nice, and you won't be disappointed by the colors and shadows either. Overall it is very crisp and I love it!
Next is game play. If you are familiar with any of the Crysis games it feels the same. The movements feel the same as well. Gun game play is very nice. People have complained about the SMGs being overpowered, but to me the bad accuracy at a distance is enough to bring down the damage at close range. The shotguns are very powerful at close range. You will barley leave a scratch beyond that, and that is how it should be in my opinion. The assault rifles are really nice as well. The recoil can be a pain so I recommend tapping the mouse button when shooting at a distance. Sniper rifles seem fine to me, except maybe they need a little more recoil on the semi-automatic snipers.
In Warface there is four classes; Medic, Assault, Engineer, and Recon. The Medic can only use a shotgun as the main weapon. They can revive fallen teammates, there is a recharge after reviving, and health packs. To use the health packs you have to go up to someone and hold the right mouse button to heal them, or click the left mouse button to heal your self. Now when I found out they could only use shotguns I was against it, but after playing it for a while I came to love it. I found out, that if you use the medic correctly, as in the back of the group, you really help the team out. By reviving or healing fellow teammates. Or cover a corner and blast foes away with your shotgun. Next is the Assualt. Not to much to them. They use the assault rifles and hand out ammo the same way you give health to others or yourself. Then the engineer. They use SMGs and they can repair your armor or repair their own. Once again the same way as they healing and giving ammo out. They also have one claymore which comes and handy when defending spots, or corners. Last is the sniper, and well the just snipe.
Right now there are a few game modes; Teamdeath Match, Free For All, Storm, and Plant the Bomb. Everyone know about the fist two, so I will talk about the lat two. Storm has three capture points, but to move on to the next you have to capture the first and so on. There are defenders and attackers, and the attackers have 10 minutes to capture them. After the attackers either take them or lose the teams switch and the defenders have to take more than them in the same amount of time. In plant the bomb it is exactly like Search and Destroy in Call of Duty.
Overall I am really enjoying this game and I see my self playing it for a while if it continues on the path it is on. I recommend that you go to their website and regster for the beta right away. I will be keeping up with this game and let you know of any updates in the future.
Good Game!
-Alex
P.S. sorry for the wait everyone, things have gotten busy for me latly but I should be putting news up everyday or every other day.

Dead Space 3 Review
Hey Gamers!
Dashie here, I had a day off today so I decided to beat Dead Space 3. If you read my introduction you'll remember that Dead Space 2 is my favorite game at the moment. This being said, it was only natural that I would wait for Dead Space 3 to come out and play it. I bought it when it first came out, but was just able to beat it today because I had started playing other games in between so I wouldn't feel so rushed playing it. There are 3 things that I'm going to go over, graphics, story, and scares.
So let's begin with graphics. Graphics are always something I enjoy and I can't really say I have any complaints with this one. Everything seemed smooth as butter, unless you enjoy eating unsmooth butter, and overall the environments amazed me. I've heard rumors that graphics may appear different depending on the system you play it on, but I could never really see the difference. At certain points, things would go blurry or things seemed kinda choppy, but these occasions would never last long and would smooth out as fast as it happened.
Story is one of the most important parts of any game and I've always enjoyed the story behind Dead Space. Dead Space 3 continued to be an enjoyment to me. I don't want to spoil to much for you guys, but I always enjoy when the main character was a badass in the game before and continues to be a badass in the following game. Issac Clarke and Ellie return in Dead Space 3 and we find out much has happened between them. The story still circles around the Markers and Issac Clarke trying to stop it. While not everyone may agree with me, I found the story to be similar to prior Dead Space games and that is what made me enjoy it.
Now for the most important part, scares. The original Dead Space was the only game where I had to stop playing and take deep breathes at parts because I was so scared. Dead Space 2 was scary as well, so we all expected Dead Space 3 to be as scary if not scarier right? Wrong. Dead Space 3 was the least scary game of the trio. Don't get me wrong, you still get that feeling of uneasiness when playing that you got in the prior games, but the scares were far to little. I personally believe they tried to make this game more about the action than anything else, and there is nothing wrong with that. I enjoy killing stuff as much as the next guy, but the scares are what I was really looking forward to. The few times this game did scare me made me feel that they developers were at least trying to make it scary.
So overall I loved this game. I felt that the story and graphics were good enough to make up for the lack of scares in the game. I do hope however that if they create another Dead Space game, they bring back the scares that we know and love. Hope everyone enjoyed. Dashie out.

Injustice: Gods Among Us News
Hey Gamers!
I don't know how much y'all have looked into this, but the new game Injustice: Gods Among Us is looking pretty sweet. Granted I'm not the biggest fan of DC hero's other than Green Arrow and Batman, but I can't help but get excited about the idea of a superhero fighting game coming to the major systems. We all remember Mortal Kombat v.s DC Universe, and while the game idea was pretty good, the game itself kinda sucked. I'm hoping they make this game more like Mortal Kombat 7, rather than making another mess up. I've been reading news articles and watching videos over it all day and I've gotta say they've at least got my attention. The character roster is the most intriguing thing to me so far.
They've included all the big names you know and love like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. As well as adding some names that you are familiar with but probably won't automatically say "Hey! I remember them!" until you actually see them. These include Green Arrow and Hawkgirl. Green Arrow aside, the characters I'm most looking forward to are Cyborg and Raven.
Hopefully I'm not the only person out there who can connect these characters to Teen Titans, the original "Young Justice". I was super stoked to see Cyborg and even hear him say his signature "BOOYAH!" during a video. I also noticed that Raven called upon her father when doing her super move, hopefully you can remember that we saw him in an episode of Teen Titans when Cyborg and Beast Boy enter Raven's mind. I look forward to this game coming out and hope it ends up being a good one. As soon as I get anymore news I will let y'all know.

Dashie's Introuduction
Hey Gamers,
As Alex already told you in a prior post I'm going to be the second author on the blog! Since Alex has PC and PS3 covered, I'll mainly do XBOX 360 and Nintendo products, but don't be surprised if I throw in a PS3 review or some news for it every now and then. Now for a little about myself, I've been a gamer for most of my life. My first system was a Sega Genesis that my parents bought for me from Goodwill at the age of 6. I've played almost every major system to come out since my birth and like to think I have good knowledge on when a game is good or not. My all time favorite game is Dead Space 2, but that is always subject to change. Pokemon games are the games that I play the most often, always trying to get better and what not. I'm not to big on major online games, but that isn't to say that I don't enjoy a game of Call of Duty every now and then. I also plan to do a "Rewind Review" every week where I take an older game and review it. This age of this game may vary so don't be surprised if you see something 1 year old or something 10 years old. I hope you enjoy my posts and continue to read this blog, I look forward to writing it! Dashie Out.
P.S If you are wondering why I'm using the name Dashie instead of my real name, it's because I use Dashie on other pages.

Black Ops 2 "Revolution" Review (PS3)
Hey Gamers!
The DLC for Call of Duty Black Ops 2 called, "Revolution" has been out for awhile now and after playing it for quite a bit of time I am ready to give a review.
The DLC is priced at $15 and you can find it on the Playstation store.
When you purchase and download it you gain access to, a new weapon, four new multiplayer maps, a new zombie map, and a new zombie game mode.
First, I will start with the new weapon called, the Peacekeeper. It is a new Sub Machine Gun(SMG) that isn't that bad at all. In some circumstances it doesn't even feel like a SMG because of the accuracy at medium to long range, and the easy to control recoil. It isn't my favorite gun, but it is a nice one.
The next thing I would like to cover are the four new multiplayer maps; Downhill, Mirage, Hydro, and Grind.
Downhill is a snowy map that is at a ski resort. This map is my favorite of all four of them and it seems to be the biggest as well.On one side you have the ski shop that leads to the middle and this area is more close quarters, but the main action seems to be on the outside where the cover is hiding behind rocks and some of the one room buildings on the corners. In the middle of the area is a stretch of ground that has no cover at all. Kinda like a no man's land because you will be picked off. Assault rifles seem to fit well with this map.
The next map is Mirage. A sand storm had went through and covered certain things up, like for example a car, and it has built up so much in some areas you can run up it to a second floor window. The sand for some reasons gives it a different vibe than the rest of the maps, which is a good thing. Most of the action seems to take place in the middle of the map which is a circular room of some sort with ways it from four different areas.
Hydro is another map and I didn't like this one at first but it has grown on me since. I really love the layout of this map. It is a hydroelectric plant with a system that flushes water out and kills anyone who's down in the lower level. But by taking that risk you can use it to get on the other side of your opponents and catch them from behind and the can do they same to you as well so watch your back. Not a lot of people use it since that's not where the action is, but if you don't mind taking a little longer to get a double kill or even a triple kill then try that route out a little more.
The last map is Grind. The map is in a skate park... Sounds cool right? Wrong! This map and me do not get along. I was looking forward to this map the most, but it is horrible. I don't like the layout of the map at all. I wish I could like it but I just can't.
The only thing left to talk about is Zombies. There is always a new zombie map, but this time around they threw in a new game mode as well. The new game mode is called, "Turned" . With the four players you all start out as zombies and when the round starts you have to look for the soda to start out as human. Well when that happens the three other zombies find you and kill you. The zombie that kills you is then turned into the human and the three hunt him down as well. That goes on until the time limit is up. It is very fast paced and you are lucky to be a human 20 seconds, but it is fun when playing with your friends. It will cause some laughs and it is different than the normal zombies, and less stressful. The new map is Die Rise, it is a skyscraper full of zombies. Just like normal zombies, its just now you can walk of the edge of the building and fall to your death.
To wrap this review up all I want to say is, if you enjoy Black Ops 2 and your on the fence of buying this or not I say go ahead and get it. Them majority of the maps are really nice, and the new weapon is good as well. Everyone loves a new zombie map and the game mode is icing on the cake. I am not disappointed in this DLC and if your a fan of the game it will only add more to it.
Thanks for reading this everybody and I hope it was to some use to you. If you have any questions ask me in the comment section or email me at alexdur94@hotmail.com

Update: New Writer
Hey Gamers!
Alex here! The reason I am writing this is to let everyone know there will be a second writer. This is just to let everyone know a little bit about him and I will vaguely go over what he will be covering because he will have his own introduction, the latest being this weekend. He will also help cover news for the PS3, but for those of you who have 3DS and Xbox 360's you are in luck because he will be covering those as well.
Now this won't be just a source for PS3 and PC fans, but for Xbox and 3DS fans.
In the future we will also talk more on the PS4 and Xbox720 as new news comes out.
Alright gamers that is about all for now. Stay tuned for my "First Impressions" on Warface, a FPS free to play game, as well as the DLC that just came out for Battlefield 3 and Black Ops2. Also look out for, "Dashie's Introduction".
Have a good one!

Introduction of Myself
Hey Gamers!
First off my name is Alex Durham and I thought a good way for you all to get to know me is if I make a introduction of my self and tell you what I plan on doing with my blog. I will most likely repeat some of the things I have in the "About me" column and I am sorry in advance. I hope this will let you guys feel a little closer to me and understand what I want to do with the blog.
I have been into video games for the majority of my life. First major game I played was "Return to Castle Wolfenstien" on the PC which was released in 2001. Ever since then I have really enjoyed video games. I have played Call of Duty all the way up to Call of Duty Black Ops on the PC, (Call of Duty 2 being my favorite and still play today). I played BF2 , BFBC2, and many more First Person Shooters(FPS). But Call of Duty being the ones I played the most. Also more recently I have played Guild Wars 2, Smite, War Thunder, and PlanetSide 2. I was just invited today into the closed beta of WarFace which I will be looking at in the near future. If you ever want to play with me my Xfire is LittleD13, and we can play these games together or just get on Skype or use the chat in Xfire to just talk about games in general.
I also play the PS3. I have COD BLOPS2, BF3, and some other titles. BF3 is by far my favorite and I am sad to say I have put 300 hours into that game. It isn't as easy to group talk with the ps3 since there is no Party system, but we can always use skype if you can and if not we can try to find a way around it.
What I plan on doing on this blog is to talk about upcoming games. Give my impressions on what I think they will be like as well with actual facts that come out about them. I will give my impressions on DLC if I can get my hands on them. For example I plan on talking about End Game for BF3 and the DLC that came out for Black Ops2. I will also look at WarFace and other Free to play games and give you my thoughts on the game.
I hope this was helpful for some of you. Hope it gave you an idea what I plan to do with the blog and let you know a little about my self. If you have any questions post them in the comment section below or email me at Alexdur94@hotmail.com
I also plan on having a twitter account soon.
Have a good one!
